About Me

I have completed my post graduation (DNB) in Family Medicine from Sir Ganga Ram hospital Delhi, which is one of the leading institutes in post graduate medical education in India. Since August 2018, I was employed as a full time trainee, pursuing a 2 year Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) accredited Fellowship in Infectious diseases and HIV medicine at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. I passed its final examination successfully in July 2020. During this period, I had also delivered teaching to medical students with excellent feedback.

I continued in the department of Internal Medicine at Tata Memorial hospital after my completion of fellowship as a Senior Resident. Later, I had worked as a Clinical Associate in the Department of Infectious diseases at PD Hinduja Hospital Mumbai for a year. I am currently working as an Associate Consultant, Infectious diseases at Aditya Birla Memorial hospital (ABMH), a 500 bedded tertiary care hospital and post graduate medical research institute in Pune. I am also working as a Chairperson of the Infection Control Committee in this hospital.

My daily work

My daily work involves the inpatient and outpatient care for all patients admitted and referred to division of Infectious Diseases. I have gained vast clinical experience in managing patients with various kinds of infectious diseases (TB, HIV, tropical infections, infections in the immunosuppressed (transplant/ oncology), fungal infections, healthcare associated infections and bone/soft tissue infections), adult immunization, antimicrobial stewardship and infection control. I was also involved in teaching activities like delivering lectures and seminars in Infectious diseases to post graduate trainee doctors at my previous work places. I have continued teaching activities at ABMH as well.
